Last Thursday, Freedom scientific held this webinar whose recording is now posted:

There were actually more tips on acquiring and using the eReader than using it specifically with JAWS. However it works great with JAWS and NVDA.
It's a Braille display with features that make it easy to read electronic Braille. This is a valuable tool for any blind Braille-reading student, especially one who does not have a Braille display. They are free to any NLS patron who orders Braille materials from NLS.
Another reason to encourage your blind students to grab one of these is that electronic Braille is a heck of a lots hassle to produce than hardcopy embossed Braille. For Braille where layout and formatting is important it won't help students but for everything else, history, humanities, English, even foreign language study it will because it is so portable and you can put a huge library on it.
Plus it does the Braille translation, so you can give your student a Word, HTML or Daisy file and it can also read those, including Bookshare. Eventually it is likely to also be able to read epub, at least that's been hinted at.
One thing it doesn't do is speak. This is strictly a Braille device but it does make reading Braille much easier than any other display I've used because that is what it was designed for, specifically.

NLS patrons can download the user guide in audio, and a embossed Braille copy comes with the device.
