This book<https://archive.org/details/fromgutenbergtoo0000dodd> is available via Internet Archive. Internet Access has a Disability Access program<https://help.archive.org/help/program-overview/> where higher ed Disability Services office can sign up for a "Qualifying Authority" account. Print disabled students can be added as authorized users to borrow books for 14 days and renew as needed. The web based book reader has magnification and text to speech options, and can also be accessed using LCP software such as Thorium (desktop), Cantook (iOS) or Cantook (Android).

Worst case scenario, if a different format is needed, I have also used it as a base to create accessible versions using AI tools.

Subject: [Athen] Looking for a book - From Gutenberg to OpenType

Hey all,

Does anyone have a remediated copy of:

From Gutenberg to OpenType: An Illustrated History of Type from the Earliest Letterforms to the Latest Digital Fonts

Author – Robin Dodd

Publisher - Hartley and Marks Publishers

ISBN: 978-0881792102

The book is out of publication, so not able to get anything from the publisher. We’ve scanned the book, but it’s proving to be a nightmare to clean up, so hoping maybe someone else has already done the work. 😊

Thanks,
