Hello Biology Students,

A graduation application signals the intent that you are within a year of completing your degree and this document should assess where and how you stand for completing your intended degree.

Applying for graduation:

* Students will need to submit a graduation application through a Biology adviser by the 3rd Friday of their final quarter. Email is the quickest way to process this request. We just need three things: your name, student number and quarter of graduation.
* If there are changes to your option in Biology and/or adding/dropping minors, please note that in your email with what needs to be changed
* Your Departmental Advisers can submit a graduation application up to 3 quarters in advance* of the estimated graduation date. We recommend submitting a graduation application early to make the best use Graduating Senior Priority (GSP) registration for 2 quarters. Applying early is recommended, however the latest to submit a grad application is by the third Friday of the quarter in which you want to finish.
*
Email bioladv at uw.edu
* To see if you have already submitted one, run a new audit and if a graduation date is listed on the upper right hand side beneath your Bachelor option, then you submitted everything needed aready.
* For any follow up questions, please visit our Zoom drop ins.
* Submitting a graduation application can secure both GSP and the ability to participate in the annual Spring graduation ceremonies and festivities.

*If you plan to graduate in Spring, then the absolute Deadline to apply is April 18, 2025 ( please submit earlier). The deadline is October 25th for GSP registration for Winter/Spring/Summer 2025.
