WHAT WOULD I DO IN A MLC?
MLCs are meant to help you support your classroom learning, develop translation strategies, combine your personal goals with your academic goals, and create a learning community. If you join a MLC, you'll be paired with 3-5 fellow students and 1 tutor-facilitator from our center. You will work together to practice translation strategies, negotiate the expectations of writing class assignments, and develop collaboration skills. Your group will meet once a week for the remainder of Fall Quarter. Weekly meetings are an hour for 6 weeks (October 16th-November 27, 2024).

MLCs can cover many topics, including:
*  Making intentional language choices;
*  Participating in class discussions and everyday translation activities;
*  Understanding and negotiating with assignments/instructor feedback;
*  Locating additional support services.

HOW TO JOIN MLC
1.   Make sure you one of the group meeting times work for you:
*         Wednesdays, 12pm-1pm
*         Thursdays, 3:30pm-4:30pm
