I am reaching out on behalf of the Population Health Initiative. We are offering two summer fellowship opportunities that may be of interest to the students you serve. Would you please help us circulate this opportunity amongst your students?
Population Health Applied Research Fellowship Program: <https://www.washington.edu/populationhealth/education-and-training/applied-research-fellowship/> In partnership with the UW Center for Studies in Demography and Ecology (CSDE)<https://csde.washington.edu/?_gl=1*4ug28o*_ga*MTczMzE0Njk1NS4xNjY0OTIyMTUz*_ga_3T65WK0BM8*MTczODg3NTgyOS4yMzYuMS4xNzM4ODc2MzcwLjAuMC4w*_gcl_au*OTg2OTM0MDcuMTczNjQ1NTQ5NQ..*_ga_JLHM9WH4JV*MTczODg3NTgyOS4yMzYuMS4xNzM4ODc2MzcwLjAuMC4w>, this program supports multidisciplinary teams of students to work on real-world population health challenges. This program is open to junior or senior status undergraduate students and graduate students from all UW campuses! The Summer 2025 Population Health Applied Research Fellowship team will work closely with the King County Demographer and King County Parks to assess the accessibility of our parks. Deliverables will include a written report and presentation to our stakeholders.

Social Entrepreneurship Fellowship:<https://www.washington.edu/populationhealth/education-and-training/social-entrepreneurship-fellowship/> This program, in partnership with the Buerk Center for Entrepreneurship<https://foster.uw.edu/centers/buerk-ctr-entrepreneurship/> and CoMotion<https://comotion.uw.edu/>, supports graduate fellows from different disciplines to explore how best to deploy social enterprise models for innovations through projects that are developed by University of Washington researchers. Graduate students from a range of disciplines are encouraged to apply, including business, engineering, social work, law, public policy and public health.
