Grey Matters is currently planning for our biggest event of the year, An Evening With Neuroscience (EWN), which strives to bring neuroscience education to the public in an interactive, digestible, and accessible way. The event typically includes a neuroscience art gallery, neurotechnology demos, a human brain dissection, and a panel with professionals in neuroscience that answer audience questions.
This year, we are expanding our event to include a mini research symposium. For many attendees at EWN, especially youth who are just beginning to explore their scientific interests, hearing from college-aged individuals who have successfully navigated research opportunities can be incredibly inspiring. Thus, we are looking for undergrad (and grad!) student researchers who would like to present for one hour at our event. This is a great opportunity for students to not only interact with individuals of all ages who want to learn more about their work, but also practice their research presentation prior to the Mary Gates Research Symposium.
