[GEOG MAJORS] Statement of Support from the Department of Geography Faculty

[GEOGRAPHY]

The Department of Geography is reaching out to acknowledge the pain, confusion, and distress that many are feeling right now around the violence in the Middle East. As geographers we understand that the impact of events is not confined to a single location or region. We are concerned for the welfare of students, staff, and faculty; as well as their families. Please know that we care about you, and we are deeply considering your needs. We support the right to free speech on campus, regardless of viewpoint, and we urge you to treat each other with respect and care.
