I would like to draw your attention to this amazing Study Abroad opportunity to study the art and culture of the Netherlands, including architecture, design, urban planning, and social, anthropological and ecological aspects of Dutch culture. You would be living (and biking) like a local in Amsterdam, and visiting many towns, such as The Hague, Rotterdam, Utrecht and Haarlem, as well as cities in Belgium, such as Antwerp, Brussels, and Ghent.

Please find the attached brochure for links and details, and note that for all three courses you can receive A&H credits. No art history or humanities prerequisites, but applicants should indicate why they would like to study art and culture from the Netherlands. The deadline is 11/15/23, but earlier submissions are encouraged and the priority deadline is 10/25. Also good to know for international students: this quarter of study abroad, including all fees, is cheaper than one quarter on campus.

As a Dutchman myself, I would love to share with you my native culture and show you some of the marvels of art and history come to life in their original context.

Please feel free to email me with inquiries: marek at uw.edu<mailto:marek at uw.edu>

Best wishes,

Marek Wieczorek
