Greetings,

I am reaching out on the behalf of the Population Health Initiative.

We are partnering with the School of Public Health to offer an event that may be of interest to the students you serve:

“A Global Career in Health: Interdisciplinary Perspectives”

Join us for an engaging discussion as we celebrate UW Global Month in-person at the Hans Rosling Center for Population Health, Room 101 on Thursday, November 2, at 4:00PM. Panelists across diverse disciplines will discuss their global careers, and how their perspectives have shaped their approach to global, public, and population health.

Hear perspectives from UW voices with backgrounds in nursing, built environments, landscape architecture, nutritional science, medicine, public health, and global health explore how their academic disciplines have shaped and informed their career paths within the health sphere and beyond.

Moderator: Alissa Bilfield, PhD, MS, Assistant Teaching Professor, Environmental & Occupational Health Sciences and Core Faculty, Nutritional Sciences Program

Panelists include:

* Coco Alarcon, MLA, Doctoral Candidate in Global Health, Implementation Science
* Sarah Iribarren, PhD, RN, Associate Professor, School of Nursing
* Sarah Masyuko, PhD, MPH, MBChB, Assistant Professor Global Health
