I am pleased to announce the 27th Annual UW Undergraduate Research Symposium will take place on Friday, May 17, 2024.

The Symposium is a celebration of undergraduate accomplishments in research, scholarship and creative expression in all academic disciplines, including the performing and visual arts. This annual event is a wonderful forum for students to gain experience presenting their work and engage in scholarly discussion.

This year’s Undergraduate Research Symposium will take place in person on the UW Seattle campus. We look forward to celebrating hundreds of inspiring undergraduate researchers and witnessing unwavering support from the UW community. It is a tradition that we hold close to our hearts as we have watched students gain confidence and build a sense of community through participation over the long-standing history of this event.

Students must apply to present their work; applications are due Thursday, February 8, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. Applications from all disciplines, including performing and visual arts, are welcome.
