I am contacting you to bring to your attention an exciting new Study Abroad in Rome program this Autumn quarter. The program is led by Professor Jamie Walker, Director of the School of Art, Art History + Design, and Dr. Mary Childs from the Department of Comparative History of Ideas.

The program consists of three 5-credit courses that will fulfill 15 credits of A&H credits (including 5 writing credits) and is open to non-majors. Students will learn about Art, Architecture and Culture of Rome, read and discuss Rome-specific literature (including Ovid!), and create artwork that is reflective of their experience in Rome.

The next program info session is on January 26 @ 1:00pm in the Art Building, room 122.

For more information on the program and its courses, visit this webpage<https://studyabroad.washington.edu/index.cfm?FuseAction=Programs.ProgramDiscovery&_gl=1*bm6439*_ga*NjkyMzYyODY2LjE3MDQ5MDY5Nzg.*_ga_3T65WK0BM8*MTcwNTUxODgzNi4xMC4xLjE3MDU1MTk5NDcuMC4wLjA.*_ga_JLHM9WH4JV*MTcwNTUxODgzNi4xMS4xLjE3MDU1MTk5NDcuMC4wLjA.>.

Best wishes,
