[GEOG MAJORS] Undergraduate Summer Research Program

In the Summer of 2025, The University of California at Irvine and Center for Population, Inequality, and Policy (https://www.cpip.uci.edu/<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/www.cpip.uci.edu/__;!!K-Hz7m0Vt54!hSO-FnrSQQLocEysf8s7TpMa-BA3D7fvIMnL1KNlXno8MFIvnak5DOpR5TFZ3Dg8oc4ZyxiQb2y-5Q$>) will be hosting NextGenPop (https://nextgenpop.org/<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/nextgenpop.org/__;!!K-Hz7m0Vt54!hSO-FnrSQQLocEysf8s7TpMa-BA3D7fvIMnL1KNlXno8MFIvnak5DOpR5TFZ3Dg8oc4ZyxhOCrxkpw$>), an NICHD-funded workshop that aims to increase diversity in the field of population research and support a cohort of undergraduate scholars with emerging interests in population topics. The program includes a 2-week workshop on campus (being held at UCI from June 22-July 3) and virtual follow-up sessions, with opportunities for networking at the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Population Association of America (PAA). Selected participants will receive room and board on campus, travel support, and a stipend.
