I am writing to share international student resources and programs offered at CIRCLE in Spring 2025.

1. WEEKLY ENGLISH CONVERSATION PRACTICE
A collaboration between UW CIRCLE and the Language Learning Center to help students practice English conversation skills and navigate the UW with TESOL-certified instructors every week. We meet on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30pm at Denny Hall Room 159. Sign up here: kalani.llc.washington.edu/events/<https://kalani.llc.washington.edu/events/>

1. CIRCLE GEN ST 205A COURSE (SLN: 14846)
This two-credit CR/NC in-person general study class is taught by CIRCLE Student Success & Well-being Coach Maja Kelly in autumn, winter and spring quarters. This class is aimed to help international and multilingual students set goals and build skills for academic and personal success. You are highly recommended to take this class if you need: extra support to transition to UW, or a 2-credit in-person class to fulfill visa requirement, or a space of belonging. Please email danz2 at uw.edu<mailto:danz2 at uw.edu> for add codes.

1. CIRCLE STUDENT SUCCESS & WELLBEING COACHING
College is not always easy. Navigating college in an entirely different country with unfamiliar cultural traditions and unspoken living practices can be more difficult and can feel lonely. CIRCLE offers free 1:1 coaching appointments to currently enrolled matriculated international students at UW Seattle campus. Read more and make appointments here: https://www.washington.edu/circle/programs/student-success-coaching/

1. LET'S TALK at CIRCLE
Something is bothering you and want to talk to a counselor? Stop by CIRCLE office at Schmitz Hall Room 250 on Fridays from 2-4pm to meet with a counselor for 15-20 minutes. No appointments needed. First come, first serve. All meetings are confidential.

Warm regards,
