National Taiwan University, in collaboration with the TECO Technology Foundation, has extended an invitation to UW students and their advisors to partake in the 2025 Net Zero Tech International Contest.

This contest presents an exceptional opportunity for students to showcase their skills, exchange ideas, and make their mark on a global platform. By participating, students will have the chance to compete for cash prizes totaling up to USD $30,000!

Eligibility Criteria: Participation is open to all students including undergraduates and graduates from academic institutions across the globe, as well as their advisors.

Contest Theme: Net Zero Tech

Covering the following technological domains:

I. Renewable Energy (Wind Power, Solar Power, Marine Energy, Geothermal, Hydrogen Energy, Forward-looking Energy...)
II. Advanced Energy Storage Systems, High Efficiency, Low Energy Consumption, Low Carbon Emissions.
III. Negative Carbon, Carbon Capture, Storage, and Reutilization Technologies.
IV. Electric Vehicles, Energy-saving Motors, Green Transportation
V. Waste Treatment and Purification Technologies, Resource Circulation and Zero Waste, Green Building.
VI. Energy-saving Technologies (Production, Manufacturing, Residential and Commercial Buildings, Green Building Design, Life......)

All finalist teams are guaranteed a minimum cash prize of USD $1,500 and a partial travel subsidy to help with the journey to the final round at NTU, scheduled for August 19, 2025. If interested, please ensure to register your team by June 25.
