[GEOG MAJORS] Summer Institute in the Arts & Humanities: Student Application Deadline March 3, 2025

Dear All,

I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing to invite you to apply to the Summer Institute in the Arts & Humanities<https://www.washington.edu/undergradresearch/summer-institute-home/>. This program is a partnership between the Simpson Center and the Office of Undergraduate Research.

The theme of the course this year is Earthworlds: Life in a Turbulent Planet. Students who are admitted to the program will enroll in 12 academic credits during summer quarter, engage in intensive research projects under the mentorship of an outstanding teaching team<https://www.washington.edu/undergradresearch/summer/siah/2025-siah-teaching-team/>, and each receive a $7,500 Mary Gates Research scholarship. Applications are due March 3, 2025.
