The spring quarter course schedule is now available! We encourage you get a head start on planning out your spring quarter course schedule so that you are ready to register for courses when registration time<https://registrar.washington.edu/academic-calendar/pi-reg-dates-spring-2025/> comes around.


Please note the following when beginning to plan your spring quarter course schedule:

  1.  Please visit our Geography Advising webpage<https://geography.washington.edu/advising> if you'd like to make an appointment to plan your spring quarter schedule. You are welcome to visit virtual Drop-In Advising<https://geography.washington.edu/advising> on Zoom for quick questions & concerns on Wednesdays, 2:00-4:00 PM, except February 19. We've also created a Degree Planning guide<https://geography.washington.edu/degree-planning> to help you plan courses to complete your geography major.

  1.  All SPR 2025 courses are available to view in MyPlan<http://myplan.uw.edu/> and GEOG courses are also available on the Department of Geography website<https://geography.washington.edu/courses/2025/spring/all>.
  2.  Please always review all section notes available on the course details page in MyPlan. Sometimes that means you must visit the link for the SLN in order to find all of the section notes. These include important information about the schedule, registration restrictions and more!
  3.  Think ahead about whether you have satisfied all prerequisites by the end of WIN 2025. Check the prerequisites of your SPR 2025 classes in MyPlan!
