[UDSM Leadership] ANNOUNCEMENT: Husky Impact Award

Good evening UDSM team,

I am excited to share that UDSM has been selected as the winner of the 2022 Husky Impact Award! This award description says: "The Husky Impact Award recognizes one RSO that has made positive and lasting contributions to UW and the broader UW Community". This award comes with a $500 programming grant and UDSM will have a permanent plaque inside the HUB as part of the HUB Hall of Fame.

I want to give a huge shout out to Emily Mather for submitting the application on behalf of UDSM! I am so grateful for your hard work on this. I also want to acknowledge Dr. Laya and Leonora for being our fearless leaders for so many years! Congratulations everyone, you all put so much time and effort into caring for our unhoused community and this award is thanks to you 🙂

If anyone has any photos from outreaches or photos you think represent UDSM, we have been requested to send 4-5 photos by June 1st so send them along if you can!
