Hi team,

In follow-up of our previous discussion, here is a draft supply list for your review. This was crafted with feedback from outreach managers, preceptors, Harborview Mobile Health Outreach and Public Health Seattle-King County Street Medicine. It is hopefully organized in a way that is easy to understand. I have also included a couple of “kits”, inspired by the recent hygiene kits. This may be a nice way for us to operate moving forward.

This is a streamlining of supply chain as we enter an era of cost-savings as we are no longer supported by the WA Healthcare Authority Grant. I have chosen items that fit a balance of impact versus cost and moved items that may not fit this balance into a section at the end of the spreadsheet for further discussion. I’ve also included a few items that have come up recently during outreaches into this bottom section for discussion. I believe that scribes have documented suggestions/supplies as well. If this information is readily available, please send to me to add to the list of items to discuss.

My intention is to improve the consistency of supply availability, ensure that the right supplies are ordered/available, and to improve long term financial strength of UDSM. My intention is NOT to change the scope of the care we are providing. This is a fluid discussion so please send me any feedback!

Once this list is finalized, my hope is to implement a protocol for requests that fall outside the list that involves a review by UDSM leadership and Service Learning.
