We are reaching out to ask for your support in sharing an exciting opportunity with your students interested in community health and research initiatives. Please see the invitation below for details about the upcoming Community Health Leadership Conference (CHLC).

Conference Invitation:

The Mitchell Wolfson Sr. Department of Community Service at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine invites you to apply for our upcoming Community Health Leadership Conference (CHLC) on March 14, 2025.

CHLC is a student-run conference dedicated to enhancing community health initiatives of our nation’s medical schools through collaboration and discussion. Medical student leaders are invited to present their achievements and challenges in community health projects, network with their peers from other institutions, and engage in dialogues that further community health goals.

We welcome applications for both poster and oral presentations. Awards will be given to outstanding submissions in each category.

Application Details:

  *   Submission Deadline: December 15, 2024, 11:59 PM EST.

Applicants will be notified of acceptance by January 13, 2025.

Registration Details: Early-bird registration will be open from January 13 to January 27, 2025, at a rate of $135 per accepted abstract. Regular registration will run from January 27 to February 21, 2025, at a rate of $165. For each additional author attending the conference, there will be an $85 registration fee.
