Hello UDSM volunteers,

Washington AHEC<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://ahecwa.org/__;!!K-Hz7m0Vt54!kMW7uQXDlCPL18EjeUVhTzNP-ePCLmFvaZU-idcwcUHrNsZQse5k_8uXFrV2p93LWS92jqIpKhuqLNI$> is excited to share an opportunity with you to participate in the Listening Project at the Seattle King County Clinic on Saturday, April 26th, at the Seattle Center. This opportunity is open to both graduate and undergraduate students.

The Listening Project focuses on story-gathering! Students will learn about attendees' perceptions of health, their experiences accessing care, and their perspectives on what health care providers should know about providing good care. This opportunity allows students to practice clinical listening and communication skills, as well as self-reflection and empathy, as they navigate the clinic and speak to clinic patients.

You can learn more about this event on the Washington AHEC website: https://ahecwa.org/scholars-events/<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://ahecwa.org/scholars-events/__;!!K-Hz7m0Vt54!m5OHPjapbX0EfobtKTbczhm_Jhx8TD2rppJQzB-5PbqbBqhhKI2Nrx0ypBdq9QsF4gSS0tCOknNNZo97Dccl9aK6SQ$>

Sign-up now for a morning or afternoon shift. Space is limited - we have about 10 open spots (first come first served), so please apply at this registration link by <https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/forms.office.com/r/2wMc597q34__;!!K-Hz7m0Vt54!m0c0rMfpham1LIxUL9wD8ktb2n1IeDb3fr2QBNo-92xPgIpF_0i3xS26VsDbcx25pqECSlgaNM5EP2M$> April 4th; accepted applicants will be notified of their shifts by April 7th.
