It might be cool to have more information about food programs — especially in the past few weeks, there seem to be a lot of different orgs providing meals around the UDistrict. Maybe pulling together a resource sheet or a general census of which programs, what days, where, etc?

Subject: [UDSM Leadership] UDSM relevant projects for undergraduate public health service learning course
Hi UDSM folks!
We're getting ready to build out our undergraduate public health service-learning course syllabus that is dedicated to a UDSM desired project. We want to ensure that we're not missing any potential topics or projects that may be relevant for the students.
This is for the course that Sri and I are teaching in the Public Health Global Health Major. This is a 2-quarter course where students meet 3x per week to do a service -earning project for public health org/group.
Last year we did foot care and created quarter sheets. We can do a similar project on a different health topic.
For the second quarter, we might do something more administrative/report writing like-- we can share more later.
Do you have recommendations for topics our students should pursue? Is there any area in your work with UDSM that you feel would be nice to have more information on?
We are happy to entertain a bunch of ideas
Feel free to respond to this email so folks can hear all the ideas
Thanks!
Anju and Sri
