[UDSM Mailing List] University District Street Medicine Leadership Applications - Due 2/17!

Hi UDSM!

Friendly reminder that applications for leadership positions in University District Street Medicine are due next Monday (2/17!). We have two different roles available in the updated application: Student Co-Director and Mobile Health Van Outreach Manager. Please see the attached descriptions for more details.


We are currently recruiting for the following roles:

  *   Graduate Student Co-Director

  *
Dental Student Co-Lead
  *   Mobile Health Van Outreach manager - Requires active driver's license/be able to drive large vehicle to/from campus to outreach

  *   One Health manager

  *   Scribe trainer/coordinator - Undergraduate student only

  *   Data manager

  *   Street outreach manager

  *   Secretary – Grad or Undergrad

For descriptions of available roles, please see the attached file. Please read these descriptions closely before applying.



General Qualifications include:

  *   Current graduate/professional student at University of Washington in one of the following schools:

     *   Medicine

     *   MEDEX/PA

     *   Rehab Medicine

     *   Social Work

     *   Nursing (ABSN, BSN, and DNP are eligible as graduate applicants)

     *   Pharmacy

     *   Dentistry

     *   Law

     *   Public Health

  *   Able to commit to 1 year of service

  *   Have personal transportation to and from outreach site

  *   Able to commit to a monthly virtual leadership meeting

  *   Have availability during outreach that does not conflict with class/work. Please ensure at least 1 hour availability before and after shift for set-up and clean up. Outreach locations and hours are available in the role descriptions document.

  *   Outreach manager: Able to coordinate with co-manager (if applicable) to divide shifts. Plan to commit to at least 1 shift per month.

  *   Be reliable in interpersonal communication, both in person and via email/text

Prior experience with UDSM is great but not required!
