The School of Nursing and Health Studies at UW Bothell would love to highlight our Master of Science in Community Health and Social Justice<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/www.uwb.edu/nhs/graduate/ms-community-health-social-justice__;!!K-Hz7m0Vt54!mJtNMkt8286gd8fiRPEPDoHA6FnzVd3UAAPIT3y3IaEyXhMIQzvaiTH8XIVX5tYJW4nrI6j8B9EeqwY$> program. Applications opened on October 1, for our Autumn 2025 cohort.

  *   2-year, full-time program (with option to go part-time, extending to 4 years)
  *   Affordable and accessible for working professionals
  *   Courses are hybrid modality, a combination of online and in-person sessions
  *   Full-time enrollment for a 2-year degree is less than $20,000 tuition (resident)


MASTER OF SCIENCE IN COMMUNITY HEALTH AND SOCIAL JUSTICE LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  *   Promote and implement anti-racist policies and practices to shift complex systems
  *   Analyze root cause of health inequities that perpetuate structural injustices and racism
  *   Deploy social justice theories, practices and policies that shift systems of inequities in communities, and develop strategies to disrupt oppressive systems and injustice
  *   Create community-based, culturally relevant health programs and campaigns that improve health outcomes in local communities and abroad in various settings
  *   Work with communities to create sustainable practices to address health inequities
  *   Develop leadership skills that value and lift all voices in communities, particularly those of historically and currently marginalized groups
