[GEOG MAJORS] Winter quarter 2025: LABOR 480 - applied research for the labor movement

Hi, all,

I hope everyone is taking good care.

The Bridges Center will be offering LABOR 480: Applied Research for the Labor Movement again this winter quarter. The course focuses on a workplace analysis and a collaborative project with a labor union, worker center, or worker-focused organization. We also have visitors who work in a variety of labor research roles and more. This class is great for folks interested in developing applied research skills, policy analysis, and applying an intersectional lens to workers' experiences.

If you have not taken a prerequisite course, you can reach out to me (rerstad at uw.edu<mailto:rerstad at uw.edu>) for an add code. I've attached a draft syllabus and a flyer for the class. Please enroll if this interests you!
