[Athen] Ally checking scanned PDFs question

I have a question about how Ally checks for scanned PDFs. I see Ally’s website here<https://help.blackboard.com/Ally/Ally_for_LMS/Administrator/Institution_Report/Accessibility_Checklist> says one of its checks is "The PDF is scanned”. If the PDF is scanned but low-quality, automated OCR has been run, would Ally still flag it as a scanned PDF (and give the response professors get for scanned documents<https://help.blackboard.com/Ally/Ally_for_LMS/Administrator/Improve_Accessibility/Scanned_PDFs> described here, basically advising professors to replace the scanned PDF with something from their library if they can)?

I understand Ally’s ability to check for accurate tagging is another issue but for now I’m trying to understand if it will flag especially problematic OCR (i.e. more problematic than born digital PDFs from the library.)

Thank you!
Adina
